About Me

Hi, my name is Bryce Hunter. I grew up in the US, split between California and Utah. And until not long ago I had never left the US. A few years ago, after I graduated from high school, I was not sure what I wanted to do. I wanted to go to college because a degree is almost mandatory these days to get a really good job. But I was a bit worried about going into a lot of debt - it's so expensive, even to just live in the States, let alone tuition, fees, and books! So, instead, I got a job. Nothing special, but it paid the bills. I suppose I was destined for life in a cubicle, and the prospects of that did not thrill me.

But as luck would have it, I had a chance to spend a few weeks in Thailand with some relatives. It was amazing! So, a few weeks turned into a few months.

But I still knew I wanted a degree. I knew that having a degree would open doors for me in the future - perhaps I would not be destined for life in a cubicle. And I was amazed to find that I had many high-quality, affordable educational opportunities. I chose one and was very happy with my decision. It was a good education at a price I could literally cover from my monthly income.

I was constantly telling friends about my life and education in Thailand and many told me they wished they had known about the alternatives to traditional US higher education--and almost all of them were suffering from large student loan debt. So, I decided to put my experience to good use, consolidate all the best affordable degrees available, and create this website.

Full disclosure: I get a small commission from the schools. But that comes off their end, not the students’.

Did you make it this far? Thanks for taking the time to read my story and I hope that my experience and this website can help you get a good education at a price you can afford.

"I chose the program because I felt it would be a good chance to earn 2 bachelors degrees at a discounted rate in a good environment with a cheap cost of living. I felt it would be a good opportunity to broaden my horizons and learn at the same time."
